Summary

Distractless is built to stay on your device. Your blocked-site list, visit counts, time-on-site stats, and session settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage. We do not run our own analytics service for everyday use of the extension. Your data stays private on this device.

What stays on your device

What we do not collect by default

The extension does not read the full text of pages you visit, your passwords, or your browsing history outside the blocked domains you configured. We do not sell your data.

Subscription checkout (Stripe)

If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe receives billing details you enter at checkout. Distractless stores only the subscription status needed to unlock the product after payment. We do not store your card number in the extension.

Chrome permissions

Distractless requests permissions needed to pause before sites you choose to block:

Third-party sites

When you visit a blocked site, the extension may open an interstitial page before you continue. That page runs inside the extension and does not send your activity to Distractless servers.
